About Anitra
Anitra Walker earned her law degree from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law after completing undergraduate studies at Spelman College. She arrived in the legal profession with a liberal arts grounding and formal legal training. Her education provided a foundation in research and advocacy that she has applied throughout a steady legal career.
Walker began her career as an associate at Deming, Parker, Hoffman, Campbell & Daly, LLC in 2008. She moved on to Khano & Associates, LLC in 2013 and then joined Aubrey Thrasher LLC as an associate in 2016. In 2019 she opened her own practice, Walker Law LLC, and assumed the role of owner. Those transitions trace a path from larger firm environments to independent practice.
She is admitted in Georgia and Maryland and holds admissions to the Supreme Court of the State of Georgia and the Court of Appeals of the State of Georgia. Those credentials allow her to appear in both trial and appellate settings in the states where she is licensed. Over the years she has navigated procedural complexities that arise when matters move between trial courts and appellate review.
Walker maintains active memberships in the State Bar of Georgia and the Atlanta Bar Association. She participates in local bar activities and stays engaged with professional developments in the region. Colleagues describe her as deliberate in her approach to case preparation and attentive during client meetings. She has handled matters across several phases of litigation and advised clients on procedural strategy.
Since establishing Walker Law LLC in 2019, Walker has run a practice that serves clients in Georgia and Maryland. She oversees client intake and case management and represents clients in hearings and appeals when required. Today she leads Walker Law LLC and represents individuals and businesses in matters in Georgia and Maryland courts, including appellate work.
