About Anita

Anita Savage has built a practice that spans three states. She is admitted to the bars of Colorado, Georgia and Texas. That geographic reach shapes how she approaches cases. It gives her a daily perspective on differing state rules and the practical problems clients face when issues cross lines.

Her visibility in the bar community grew through leadership roles in collaborative law. In 2023 she served as chair of the Collaborative Law Section for the State Bar of Texas. In the same year she also chaired the Collaborative Law Section of the Dallas Bar Association. Those positions put her in the middle of professional conversations about how collaborative practices can function alongside traditional litigation.

Earlier, in 2022, she took part in the Dallas Women Lawyer Association Mentoring Circle under the Dallas Bar Association. That program connected established practitioners with newer attorneys. Involvement in mentorship work has been a recurring part of her public-facing work. She has regularly participated in panels and local bar programs aimed at improving professional skills and expanding access to peer support.

Colleagues describe her practice orientation as collaborative law. She works on facilitating settlements and negotiated agreements, rather than relying solely on courtroom proceedings. Her work includes preparing the structure of collaborative processes, guiding neutral information exchange, and helping parties reach terms they can live with. The emphasis is practical: reduce cost, limit acrimony, and produce workable solutions.

Working in three jurisdictions affects the day-to-day. Clients who have ties to multiple states benefit from counsel who understands procedural differences. She advises on how timing, filings and enforceability can vary between Colorado, Georgia and Texas. That perspective is often important in family and civil matters where residence, property or business interests span state lines.

Her public roles in bar sections and mentoring groups have continued to inform how she handles files and relationships in the office. The leadership work has meant regular coordination with other attorneys, judges and dispute resolution professionals. As of 2026 she practices collaborative law across Colorado, Georgia and Texas.
