About Angelo
Angelo DiBartolomeo studied political science at Bowling Green State University before turning to law at DePaul College of Law. He left school with a law degree and a practical sense of how legal institutions intersect with public policy. Those academic foundations inform the way he approaches cases and client counsel today.
He began his professional legal work in 2013 as a contract lawyer for Pactiv, LLC. That role exposed him to high-volume corporate and transactional matters. A year later he joined Clark Hill PLC as an associate lawyer, where he handled a mix of litigation and contractual work. Those early positions built a base of courtroom experience and practical drafting skills.
DiBartolomeo moved into private firm practice in 2018 with Barone Law Group, P.C., taking on broader responsibilities for client representation. The following year he accepted a senior counsel role at Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani. There he worked on complex commercial and construction-related matters, contributing to larger litigation teams and handling dispute resolution tasks.
He holds licenses in both Kentucky and Illinois. He is a member of the State Bar of Kentucky and serves as a fellow in the American Bar Association’s Forum on Construction Law. That affiliation signals long-standing engagement with construction law issues, both on the litigation side and in contract interpretation and risk allocation.
DiBartolomeo launched his own practice, DiBartolomeo Law, PLLC, after accumulating experience at national and regional firms. He runs a small office that handles litigation and transactional work for businesses and individuals. He draws on years of practice in corporate settings and on projects that require coordination among contractors, owners, and insurers.
Colleagues describe him as practical in court and exacting on contract language. He balances courtroom preparation with an eye for settlement mechanics. Clients who come to him for construction disputes typically seek clarity on contract terms, defect claims, and allocation of responsibility among multiple parties.
He continues to contribute to professional circles through his ABA forum involvement and state bar membership. He maintains an active caseload across Kentucky and Illinois and concentrates on construction and commercial litigation and contract matters across those jurisdictions.
