About Angela
Angela Walker earned her law degree from the University of Michigan Law School in 2004 after completing undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, where she received a B.A. in English Language and Literature in 2000. She built a foundation in legal writing and analysis during her time at Michigan. Those years shaped how she approaches cases and client communication today.
She began practicing law soon after graduation and established a steady path in employment law. Over the years she has handled a range of workplace matters, representing clients through litigation, administrative proceedings and negotiated resolutions. Her work has remained concentrated on employment and labor issues, where statutory and contract disputes often intersect.
Walker has been active in professional organizations connected to workplace law and the broader legal community. She serves in the Washtenaw region leadership of the Women Lawyers Association of Michigan and has held the position of Past-President there. She is also a member of the Michigan Employment Lawyers Association, the National Employment Lawyers Association and the State Bar of Michigan Labor & Employment Section.
