About Dylan M
Dylan M Timmer came to law from two different campuses. He graduated from the University of Michigan in 2012 and earned his J.D. from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 2016. Those years shaped his approach to practice: steady, methodical and grounded in classroom work and clinic experience.
After law school he settled into Michigan’s legal community. He is admitted to practice in Michigan and has built a career around client representation in the state. He has been active in local and national bar groups, maintaining current memberships in the Washtenaw County Bar Association and the American Bar Association. Those memberships have kept him connected to developments in court procedure and professional standards.
Early in his career Timmer focused on learning how courts actually operate. He spent time observing proceedings, working on filings and assisting more senior attorneys on hearings. That background gave him a practical sense of litigation rhythms and deadlines, and an appreciation for careful preparation. Colleagues describe him as methodical in his courtroom work and attentive to procedural detail.
His work at Tishkoff PLC has allowed him to apply that practical training to everyday client matters. At the firm he handles filings, courtroom appearances and client counseling tied to matters in Michigan. He draws on his Law School training to frame legal questions clearly and to explain options to clients in straightforward terms. He combines research, writing and in-court practice in order to move matters forward.
Outside the office Timmer keeps up with changes in law through bar programming and continuing legal education. He uses those events to test practical approaches against peers and to refine litigation technique. He also participates in local bar association activities that address procedural and ethical issues faced by Michigan lawyers.
Timmer’s career path is steady rather than flash. He trained at two different law schools, built a foundation in Michigan courts and joined a firm where daily practice reinforced classroom lessons. He continues to advise and represent clients through Tishkoff PLC. He now practices at Tishkoff PLC, concentrating on matters arising in Michigan.
