About Angela N
Angela N Bryant earned a B.S. in Clinical Psychology from the University of California, San Diego in 2005 and went on to receive her J.D. from the University of California, Davis School of Law in 2010. Her academic path combined social science and law. That combination later shaped the kinds of cases she took on and the communities she served.
She began her legal career soon after law school at the Family Violence Law Center, where she served as a post-bar clerk and volunteer lawyer in 2010. That frontline work exposed her to protective order proceedings and urgent family law matters. In 2011 she joined Whatley Law Office as an associate lawyer, taking court-facing roles and expanding her litigation experience. Two years later she moved to the Law Offices of Tracey C. Wapnick, again as an associate, where she continued to represent clients in contested and uncontested family law issues. In 2015 she opened her own practice, the Law Offices of Angela N. Bryant, where she serves as owner and principal.
Bryant has been active in local bar circles throughout her career. She holds memberships in the Alameda County Bar Association and the Contra Costa County Bar Association since 2010 and joined the Alameda-based East Bay La Raza Lawyers Association in 2015. Those affiliations reflect sustained ties to the Bay Area legal community and to networks of practitioners who handle family and civil matters.
Her early work at a domestic violence legal clinic and subsequent associate positions informed the types of matters she handles. Her practice has included representation in family court proceedings and work related to domestic violence advocacy. She has experience preparing pleadings, appearing in court on custody and support issues, and assisting clients through settlement negotiations as well as contested hearings. Colleagues describe her approach as straightforward and client-centered in the courtroom context.
Since founding her firm in 2015 Bryant has run a small, California-based practice from the East Bay. She manages casework, court preparation and client consultations. The firm’s work is rooted in state family court procedures and local practice rules. She is licensed to practice in California and maintains active involvement in county and regional bar groups.
She currently leads the Law Offices of Angela N. Bryant, where her practice concentrates on family law and related matters in California.
