About Alex

Alex Verbeck built his legal foundation at Lewis & Clark Law School, where he matriculated in 2007 and earned his J.D. in 2010. He completed the rigorous course of study there during a period of significant shifts in legal education and the practice landscape. The school years shaped his analytical approach and introduced him to the practical courtroom and transactional skills that would mark his career.

After law school, Verbeck entered private practice and steadily expanded his responsibilities. He became a member of the Oregon State Bar and is listed under bar number 111464. Over time he handled a range of matters that balanced courtroom work and client advisory tasks. Colleagues describe him as methodical; clients have relied on him to clarify complex issues and break them into manageable steps.

His work history includes running his own practice, Verbeck Law, where he manages both client intake and case strategy. Operating a solo or small-firm practice demands attention to detail and adaptability. He took on those demands and structured his office to provide hands-on counsel rather than delegating all client contact. That approach has shaped how he prepares cases and steers negotiations.

Verbeck’s day-to-day practice mixes litigation posture and negotiated solutions. He prepares pleadings, handles discovery, and appears in hearings when matters require court attention. At the same time he spends time drafting agreements and advising clients on transactional choices. He adapts the work to the size of the matter and to a client’s tolerance for risk.

Outside of casework, he maintains active membership in professional associations, keeping current with developments in law and practice management. He has pursued continuing legal education and remains engaged in the local bar community. Those activities inform how he manages cases and counsels clients, especially where new rules or procedures affect strategy.

His office, Verbeck Law, serves individuals and small organizations. Verbeck combines direct client contact with careful legal analysis. He currently practices at Verbeck Law, where his work concentrates on client counseling, dispute resolution and transactional matters.
