About Angela L.
Angela L. Haas began her academic path at Appalachian State University, where she studied criminal justice and psychology. She enrolled in 1984 and earned a B.S. in 1988. Years later she returned to formal legal study, entering Campbell Law School in 1999 and receiving her J.D. in 2002.
Her legal career has moved steadily through partnership and leadership roles in small and mid-sized firms. She joined Atkins & Haas, P.A. as a law partner in 2003. The following year she helped lead Haas & Parker, P.A. as managing partner. That pattern continued in 2005 when she became managing partner at Haas McNeil & Associates, P.A. By 2009 she was a senior partner at Haas & Associates, P.A., and in 2016 she held a senior partner role at Haas Tharrington, P.A. In 2019 she returned to Haas & Associates, P.A. as lawyer and owner.
Haas is licensed to practice in North Carolina. Her professional credentials include certification as a Superior Court mediator through Carolina Dispute Settlement Services, commission as a Notary Public for the State of North Carolina, and designation as a parenting coordinator for Wake County Court. Those qualifications reflect long involvement in dispute resolution and family-related courtroom work.
Her professional associations include ongoing membership in local legal groups and a leadership post with NC GALA, where she serves as president. That role has involved organizational duties and public-facing responsibilities within the group. Throughout her career she has balanced courtroom appearances, negotiated settlements, and out-of-court dispute resolution.
