Angel J. Berbarie took a conventional academic route into law. He earned a B.S. in Political Science from Texas A&M in 2001. He then completed his J.D. at the University of Houston Law Center in 2004. He is licensed to practice in Texas.
His career progressed within the family law field. He joined Goranson Bain Ausley, PLLC and became a partner there in 2016. That role places him among the firm’s core family law practitioners and involves courtroom work as well as negotiated settlements.
He is Board Certified in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. Board certification indicates that a lawyer has met standards set by the board for experience and knowledge in a particular area of law. In practice, Berbarie handles divorce, child custody, property division and related family law issues under Texas statutes and case law.
