About Andy

Andy Kralios earned an LL.M. from the University of Washington School of Law in 2016 after completing his J.D. at Western New England University School of Law in 2008. His graduate work at Washington emphasized U.S. health law and policy and covered subjects such as healthcare mergers and acquisitions, nonprofit organizations, research ethics and regulation, the Affordable Care Act, antitrust, healthcare employment, food and drug regulation, and medical privacy. Those studies gave him a structured grounding in the legal and regulatory issues that shape health care delivery and organization today.

Kralios is licensed to practice in several jurisdictions, including Washington, Connecticut, and Massachusetts, and he holds admission to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. He is on the membership rolls of the Washington State Association for Justice at the Eagle level, a designation he has held since 2018. His professional path has been tied to practice in Washington, where he works out of offices associated with the Washington Law Center.

His academic focus shows through in the types of matters he handles. Colleagues say he applies an analytical approach to regulatory questions, especially where statutory and administrative frameworks intersect with organizational strategy. The topics he studied in law school and in his LL.M. recur in his work: compliance with health statutes, questions that arise in mergers and nonprofit restructuring, research compliance and human-subjects rules, and privacy issues involving patient data.

Admission to the First Circuit permits him to appear in federal appellate proceedings that can affect health law and institutional defendants. Admission in multiple state jurisdictions allows him to work with clients whose operations cross state lines, including health systems and nonprofit entities that operate regionally. His engagement with the Washington State Association for Justice places him in a network of trial lawyers and policy advocates in the state, which can influence both litigation posture and policy work.

Kralios balances doctrinal knowledge with practical problem-solving. He moves between regulatory analysis and transactional thinking. He advises on compliance arrangements, reviews governance structures for nonprofit providers, and assesses legal risk tied to research and privacy. His work is grounded in the areas he studied during his LL.M., and he continues to work on matters that intersect law, policy and health care delivery. He currently focuses his practice on health law and policy matters.
