About Andy
Andy Gale earned his Juris Doctor from the University of California College of the Law, San Francisco in 1979. He entered a legal world that, at the time, still valued courtroom experience above all else. That early training shaped the next phase of his career.
In 1980 he joined the Office of the District Lawyer in Orange County as a senior trial lawyer. There he handled courtroom matters and learned the routines of public prosecution and trial preparation. The post put him in front of juries and judges early in his professional life and helped form a litigation-first approach that has persisted.
Seven years later he helped establish The Law Offices of Gale and Vallance, A Professional Corporation, opening the door to private practice in 1987. Running a small firm demanded different skills from public service. He managed cases, mentored younger lawyers and handled the administrative side of a practice while continuing to appear in court.
Gale has also engaged in work outside of strict legal practice. He served as a director of the Foundation for Personal Financial Education beginning in 2009, a role he held through 2011. That post involved governance and outreach on financial literacy, and it added a nonprofit boardroom perspective to his portfolio.
Professional associations have been a steady part of his profile. He has held membership in the Orange County Bar Association since 1985 and kept active in local networks. He has participated in BNI International in several capacities over the years, serving on a membership committee in 2007–2008, as vice president in 2008–2009, as president in 2009–2010, and later as a chapter mentor. He was also affiliated with the Association of Corporate Counsel from 2009 to 2010.
The address listed for his office is 1820 W Orangewood Ave, Ste 104a. That location represents the base from which he has run casework and met with clients. Over decades he has moved between public service, nonprofit governance and private practice, carrying a practical courtroom orientation through each role.
He continues to practice at The Law Offices of Gale and Vallance, A Professional Corporation, where his current practice focuses on trial work and litigation matters.
