About Andrew Stephen

Andrew Stephen Roth earned his law degree from SUNY Buffalo School of Law. He came up through a traditional law school path and then moved into practice across neighboring jurisdictions. His legal education at Buffalo provided a foundation in both litigation and transactional work.

After graduation he obtained admission to practice in New York and New Jersey. That dual admission has shaped the arc of his career. He has handled matters that required familiarity with both states’ rules and procedures, and he has navigated the practical differences between courts and regulatory bodies in each jurisdiction.

Over the years Roth has worked on matters that ranged from courtroom appearances to client counseling behind the scenes. He has experience managing case dockets, preparing pleadings and briefs, and representing clients at hearings. He has also assisted with negotiating settlements and drafting agreements when cases did not proceed to trial.

Peers describe him as deliberate and practical in his approach. He tends to break complex problems into clear steps and to present options in straightforward terms. That methodical style shows up in how he prepares for hearings and how he advises clients on procedural choices. He balances attention to detail with an eye toward practical outcomes.

Roth’s practice reflects the demands of serving clients in two adjacent states. He is familiar with relevant court rules and filing procedures in both New York and New Jersey. That knowledge helps when matters involve parallel filings, interstate enforcement, or counsel coordination across state lines. He also keeps up with changes in local court practices so that filings and appearances proceed without unnecessary delay.

Colleagues note that Roth values clear communication. He aims to keep clients informed about the status of matters and the consequences of different options. His work often involves coordinating with opposing counsel, experts and administrative agencies. He tends to emphasize timely responsiveness and careful preparation in every file.

Roth maintains an active license in both New York and New Jersey and continues to practice in the region. He currently concentrates his practice on matters that arise under the laws of New York and New Jersey, advising and representing clients in state-level proceedings and related matters.
