About Andrew Littlejohn
Andrew Littlejohn Johnson trained as a classical lawyer. He earned a B.S. from Franklin University in 2011 and a J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2013. Those years set the stage for a career that moved quickly from contract work to a role inside the appellate system and then into private practice.
He spent 2014 doing contract legal work. The next year he joined the South Carolina Court of Appeals as a staff lawyer. That role exposed him to appellate procedure and a steady flow of complex legal issues. In 2017 he moved to the Law Office of Kenneth E. Berger, LLC, where he worked on trial-level matters and developed practical courtroom experience.
In 2020 he founded Littlejohn Law LLC. He manages the firm and handles its caseload. The decision to open his own shop followed several years of varied practice experience. It also followed earlier work that combined research, case drafting and client-facing responsibilities.
His memberships reflect his practice interests. He is active in the Richland County Bar Association and holds memberships in the South Carolina Association for Justice, the South Carolina Bar Torts and Insurance Practice Section, the South Carolina Bar Workers Compensation Section, and the South Carolina Bar Young Lawyers Division. From 2016 to 2019 he served on the board of Washington Street UMC in a community development capacity.
Collegiate training and appellate work gave him a foundation in legal analysis. Trial practice added day-to-day case management. His work ranges from litigation tasks to counseling clients through procedural steps and hearings. He has handled matters that involve tort and insurance issues and workers' compensation questions, and he has experience moving cases through both trial and appellate processes.
Those who have worked with him describe a lawyer who prefers clear, direct written work and careful preparation for hearings. His background at the Court of Appeals informs how he frames legal arguments on appeal. Running a small firm has also required attention to practical business concerns that affect clients, such as timely communication and courtroom logistics.
He continues to practice in South Carolina. He currently practices at Littlejohn Law LLC, handling torts, insurance matters and workers' compensation cases.
