About Andrea L. Uresti
Andrea L. Uresti Barr studied the mechanics of human behavior before she studied the machinery of the law. She earned a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Houston in 2008 and returned to the same city to complete a J.D. at the University of Houston Law Center in 2010. Those two degrees sit at the start of a legal career grounded in both analysis and attention to clients’ perspectives.
Her professional path has been centered in Texas. She is licensed to practice there and has built her practice inside RMO LLP, where she serves as a lawyer and managing partner. In that role she balances case work and firm leadership. She handles client matters, oversees case strategy, and attends to the administrative demands that come with running a law firm.
Her academic background in psychology informs how she approaches legal problems. That training shapes the questions she asks and the way she prepares witnesses and clients. It also helps when evaluating disputes and anticipating how opposing parties might respond in negotiation or courtroom settings.
Colleagues and clients see a practitioner who moves between the detail of litigation tasks and broader office management. Day to day that means supervising associate attorneys and support staff, managing filings and court calendars, and keeping an eye on the firm’s operational needs. At the same time she maintains a caseload and appears in Texas courts as needed.
Outside of client work, her career reflects steady professional engagement in the legal community. She has remained based in Houston-area institutions for her education and practice. That continuity contributes to practical local knowledge about courts and regional legal culture.
She is currently the managing partner at RMO LLP and continues to practice law in Texas, balancing firm leadership with direct representation of clients in the state’s legal system.
