About Andrea J.

Andrea J. Lehner built her career on steady steps rather than sudden turns. She began in Buffalo, earning a Bachelor of Arts in 2010. Four years later she completed her J.D. at the University of Miami School of Law and entered practice.

Her time at Miami introduced her to the pressures of courtroom work and the mechanics of family law cases. Early on she took roles that involved client counseling, drafting pleadings and appearing in hearings. Those assignments gave her a practical grounding in both negotiation and litigation. They also shaped the way she approaches client matters: methodically, and with attention to procedural detail.

Lehner is admitted to practice in Florida and before the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida. That combination of state and federal admission means she can handle cases that cross different procedural lines. In family law matters, that often translates to dealing with complex filings, enforcement actions and ancillary issues that touch federal jurisdiction.

Over the years she has handled a range of family law matters. She represents clients in dissolution proceedings, child custody and support disputes, and asset division cases. She has also worked on post-judgment enforcement and modification matters. Her work includes contested hearings and efforts to resolve disputes through negotiation and settlement when possible.

Her approach in the courtroom is straightforward. She focuses on the facts of each case and the rules that govern them. She prepares pleadings carefully and aims to present clear, organized arguments. In negotiations she emphasizes clarity about priorities and realistic assessments of likely outcomes.

Colleagues describe her as steady and pragmatic. She tends to organize cases in a way that makes them manageable for clients who are often under stress. That organizational emphasis shows up in how she prepares clients for hearings and in the way she marshals documentary evidence.

Lehner practices from Beaches Family Law, P.A. There she handles individual client representation and appears in family court across the state as needed. She maintains a practice that includes both trial work and negotiated resolutions, depending on what a client’s situation requires.

She currently practices at Beaches Family Law, P.A., where she handles family law matters.
