About Analisa
Analisa Pratt earned her J.D. from Golden Gate University School of Law in 2006, where she studied tax law. She arrived at law school after undergraduate work and left with a grounding in both transactional and litigation concepts. The tax coursework would later inform parts of her estate planning work.
Her legal career began in the federal courthouse. In 2006 she clerked for the United States District Court for the District of Arizona. The clerkship exposed her to civil procedure and federal practice. She moved into private practice two years later, joining Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati as an associate in 2008. There she worked on corporate and commercial matters for technology clients.
Pratt shifted firms in 2013, taking an associate role at K&L Gates. Her time at larger firms deepened experience in complex transactions and client counseling. In 2015 she returned to a court environment as a research lawyer for the Superior Court of California, Santa Clara County. That position involved legal research, drafting bench memoranda and supporting trial judges on a range of civil issues.
In 2016 she founded Pratt Law. The firm grew out of years spent on both transactional and court-side work. Pratt built a practice that blends estate planning, probate administration and tax-related planning. She is licensed to practice in California and Arizona and handles matters that cross state lines on occasion.
Pratt maintains memberships in several professional organizations. She is a member of the State Bar of Arizona and the Silicon Valley Bar Association. She also belongs to the Santa Clara County Estate Planning Counsel and participates in WealthCounsel. Outside the strictly legal sphere she serves as a commissioner for the Menlo Park Sister City and Friendship Committee, a public role that connects civic and international exchange activities to local residents.
Her clients tend to be individuals, families and small business owners seeking structured estate plans or guidance through probate. She combines courtroom experience and firm-side practice to advise on trust instruments, wills, incapacity planning and estate administration. Her tax background informs planning where federal and state tax considerations matter.
Pratt continues to run Pratt Law and to take on matters in both California and Arizona. Her current practice focuses on estate planning, probate and related tax-sensitive planning work.
