Amy Semmel is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in the State of California. She was admitted to the California State Bar in 1984. Her license is currently in active status. Ms. Semmel is the principal at SemmelADR, a mediation and alternative dispute resolution firm located at 137 N Larchmont Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90004-3704. She has been practicing law for over 40 years, serving clients throughout California.

Ms. Semmel earned her Juris Doctor degree from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law, where she was the Articles Editor of the Ecology Law Quarterly. Prior to law school, she graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania. Her academic achievements reflect a strong foundation in legal studies and a commitment to excellence.

Throughout her career, Ms. Semmel has focused on employment law and workers' compensation. She represents clients in matters involving wrongful termination, discrimination, sexual harassment, wage and hour disputes, and other employment-related issues. Her practice encompasses all stages of litigation, including case evaluation, discovery, mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial proceedings in both state and federal courts.

Ms. Semmel has handled cases in the Superior Court of California for the County of Los Angeles and the United States District Court for the Central District of California. She has also appeared before the California Court of Appeal on multiple occasions. Prior to founding SemmelADR, she worked as an associate at a mid-size litigation firm in Los Angeles for several years.

Ms. Semmel is an active member of the California Lawyers Association and its Labor and Employment Law Section. She is also a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association. Ms. Semmel is fluent in English and Spanish, allowing her to serve the diverse communities of Los Angeles County effectively.
