About Amy

Amy Roepke earned her law degree from Seattle University School of Law in 2008 after completing undergraduate studies in business economics at Seattle University in 2005. Her academic record bridged business and law, a combination she would return to throughout her career. She stayed close to practice areas that touch on both corporate structure and operational detail.

She launched Roepke Law Office in 2008 and began practicing corporate and M&A law. Early work involved transactional matters, contract drafting and advising small and midsize enterprises. In 2012 she moved into an in-house role as counsel and business manager for Builders Millwork Supply. That post put her on the other side of legal questions — handling day-to-day commercial decisions, vendor agreements and internal compliance issues while managing business operations.

A year later she shifted toward advisory work, serving as a consultant for Berg Executive Resource Group in 2013. There she provided HR, tax and strategic planning guidance to clients that ranged from startups to established private companies. The mix of legal, tax and operational advice became a recurring theme in her practice. In 2016 she took on a teaching role at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, working as a law professor and coach. She also served that year as board president of Denver MAMA, an organization focused on maternal advocacy and support.

Roepke is licensed to practice in Washington and Colorado. Her career moves expose a pattern: alternating between external counsel, in-house management and advisory roles. That background informs how she evaluates risk and structures deals. Colleagues note she brings practical business sense to legal problems, translating legal requirements into actionable steps for clients who need clear answers rather than abstract analysis.

She maintains a private practice through Roepke Law Office, advising clients on corporate transactions, governance, and business operations. Her work often involves drafting agreements, advising on organizational structure and helping business owners manage legal and tax-related decisions. Currently she practices through Roepke Law Office and focuses on corporate, M&A and related business advisory services.
