About Amy L.
Amy L. Bradley moved from the newsroom to the courtroom over the course of a decade. She earned a B.A. in broadcast journalism from the University of Missouri–Columbia in 2002, then returned to school and received her J.D. from George Mason University School of Law in 2010. Those two educations shape how she works: an eye for detail and a habit of clear storytelling.
Her first professional years were in television. Bradley worked as a reporter, anchor and producer at KOMU, WGEM and other stations from 2001 through 2005, later serving as a morning anchor and investigative reporter. That early work placed her in fast-moving environments and taught skills she later brought to legal research and courtroom preparation. She began legal training as a law clerk in 2008 at Greenspun, Shapiro, Davis & Leary P.C., then joined Greenspun Shapiro P.C. as a lawyer after earning her J.D.
Bradley spent the next several years in private practice. She worked at Michael L. Davis & Associates in 2012 and at the Law Offices of Christie A. Leary in 2014. In 2017 she joined BrigliaHundley, PC as an associate and was made partner there in 2020. In 2022 she moved to Blankingship & Keith PC as a partner. Her resume shows steady progression through litigation roles and increasing responsibility within firm settings.
She holds memberships across multiple jurisdictions and professional groups. Bradley is admitted to practice in Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia. She has been an associate fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America since 2020 and is active in the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association. She also participates in local bar groups, including the Prince William County Bar Association and the George Mason American Inn of Court, where she serves as a barrister.
Bradley has engaged in mentoring and volunteer work within the legal community. From 2012 to 2018 she mentored for the Alexandria Bar Association’s Beat the Odds Scholarship Program. She served on the board and as secretary of the Fairfax Bar Association Young Lawyers Section and has contributed to committees for the Fairfax Law Foundation.
Colleagues describe her courtroom practice as grounded in research and preparation. She litigates cases and represents clients in state and federal settings. She practices litigation in Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia.
