About Amy C.
Amy C. Connolly earned a business degree from the University of New Hampshire in 2002 and completed her J.D. at the University of New Hampshire School of Law in 2006. She is licensed to practice in New Hampshire. Her academic record set the stage for a career that has crossed both public service and private practice.
She began her legal career in 2006 at Boynton, Waldron, Doleac, Woodman & Scott, P.A., working as a lawyer on a variety of matters that built her courtroom experience. In 2008 she moved into public service as a felony prosecutor in the Rockingham County Lawyer’s Office. That period in the prosecutor’s office exposed her to serious criminal cases and the pressures of trial work.
In 2013 Connolly shifted back toward private practice and joined Russman Law Offices as of counsel. Around the same time she became active in local dispute-resolution efforts, serving on the Board of Directors of the New Hampshire Collaborative Law Alliance from 2013 to 2016. Her path led in 2018 to a leadership role at Connolly Law PLLC, where she became a partner and helped shape the firm’s approach to contested cases.
Connolly holds Board Certification in Family Trial Law from the National Board of Trial Advocacy. That credential reflects an emphasis on trial practice in family law. She has also taken on roles in professional organizations. She has served on the Board of the New Hampshire Association for Justice since 2016 and on the Board of Governors of the Rockingham County Bar Association since 2014. She is a member of the New Hampshire Women’s Bar Association (since 2014) and the New Hampshire Trial Lawyers Association (since 2013).
Her experience spans prosecutor’s office casework and courtroom practice in private firms. Colleagues note that her background in both public prosecution and family trial work gives her a broad perspective on evidence, trial advocacy, and case preparation. Over time she has combined litigation skills developed in criminal cases with procedural and evidentiary know-how in family court settings.
Today she practices at Connolly Law PLLC. Her practice centers on family trial law and related courtroom matters at the firm.
