About Amos

Amos Goodall earned his J.D. from Fordham University School of Law in 1971. He arrived in the legal world at a time of change. Courts were grappling with new procedural rules and expanding administrative law. His legal education placed him among a generation of lawyers shaped by that era.

Fordham’s curriculum in the late 1960s and early 1970s emphasized both doctrinal training and practical skills. Goodall’s diploma reflects that period of legal study. The degree marked the start of a long association with the law rather than a single moment in a career.

Goodall is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania. Over the decades since his graduation, he has maintained an active presence in the state’s legal community. He has navigated state court matters and the routine demands of client representation. That span of time has witnessed changes in litigation practice, court procedure, and client expectations. He has adapted to each.

His work has combined courtroom advocacy, counseling and document work. He has handled matters that required filing court papers, negotiating outcomes and preparing legal agreements. Those tasks are familiar to many Pennsylvania practitioners and remain central to everyday legal practice in the state.

Colleagues who have worked alongside him note a methodical approach to case preparation. He pays attention to deadlines and procedural detail. He approaches hearings and client meetings with a straightforward manner. There is little in the way of flourish; the work is practical and often procedural.

Outside of the courtroom he has spent time managing the paperwork that underpins legal matters. Drafting, reviewing and assembling records have been part of his routine. For many long-serving lawyers, that steady work forms the backbone of client representation and case management.

In recent years he has continued to practice in Pennsylvania, adapting to electronic filings and changing rules. He remains active in the day-to-day work of representing clients and resolving disputes. He maintains an active practice in Pennsylvania law.
