About Amber
Amber Konow built her foundation in Chicago. She earned a B.A. from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2011 and went on to receive her J.D. from The John Marshall Law School in 2017. Those years in the city shaped her early legal interests and placed her in the network of courts and practitioners that would define her early career.
After law school, Konow joined Levin & Perconti. She works in both state and federal forums and is admitted to practice in Illinois and before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Her day-to-day work involves preparing cases for trial, handling motion practice, and representing clients in hearings and settlements. Colleagues describe her as methodical in case preparation and attentive to the practical steps that move a file forward.
Konow maintains an active professional presence through several bar and trial organizations. She holds memberships in the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, the Women’s Bar Association of Illinois, the Chicago Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the American Association for Justice. She is also involved with Women Everywhere: Partners in Service. Those affiliations provide regular opportunities for continuing education, courtroom strategy discussions, and peer networking. They also connect her to local initiatives that support lawyers and litigants across the region.
Her work at Levin & Perconti places her alongside litigators who handle complex casework and high-volume practice. She spends time evaluating medical and legal records, consulting with experts, and guiding clients through each phase of a claim. She handles procedural and substantive tasks that range from drafting pleadings to taking and defending depositions. Outside the office she participates in association events and community-oriented programs organized through her memberships. Her current practice concentrates on litigation matters at Levin & Perconti.
