About Amanda M
A 2018 graduate of Northeastern University School of Law, Amanda M Ghannam earned her J.D. after studying labor, work, and income issues. Her law school years included practical placements that exposed her to public enforcement and the federal courts. Those early experiences shaped the contours of her legal interests.
While still in school she worked as a judicial intern to Judge Victoria A. Roberts in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan and served as a legal intern at the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination. She followed that work with clerkships at Hirsch Roberts Weinstein LLP and Sandulli Grace, P.C., where she handled research, drafting, and case preparation tasks. The internships and clerk positions gave her day-to-day litigation experience and a familiarity with procedural practice in federal and state settings.
After law school she joined Nacht & Roumel, P.C. as an associate in 2018. In that role she worked on civil litigation matters and client counseling under the supervision of experienced litigators. Over the next several years she built courtroom experience and broadened her practice skills. In 2024 she became a partner at Schulz Ghannam PLLC, where she continues to practice alongside a small team of litigators.
Ghannam is admitted to practice in Michigan and is authorized to appear in several federal districts, including the Central District of Illinois, the Northern District of Ohio, and the Northern District of Indiana. She maintains memberships in professional organizations that reflect her interests in employment and civil-justice work. Those affiliations include the National Arab American Bar Association, the Women Lawyers Association of Michigan, the Michigan Association for Justice, and the National Employment Lawyers Association.
Colleagues describe her as deliberate in her preparation and attentive to procedural detail. She approaches discovery and motion practice methodically and prefers to give clients clear options rather than promises. Her background in administrative enforcement work and federal clerkship experience informs how she frames litigation strategies.
Now a partner at Schulz Ghannam PLLC, she represents clients in employment disputes and related civil matters, handling trial and pretrial work in state and federal courts where she is admitted to appear.
