About Amanda
Amanda Gilbert-Largent combined an undergraduate background in accounting and economics with a law degree to build a varied early career. She earned a B.B.A. from Marshall University in 2009 and completed her J.D. at Western New England University School of Law in 2012. The mix of finance and law has shaped the kinds of roles she pursued after law school.
She entered legal work through internships and clinic placements. While still a student she interned at Huddleston Bolen LLP and worked as an accounting intern at Hess, Stewart, & Campbell. She later clerked for the Law Offices of Douglas J. Brunner and served as a clinician in the Western New England University Small Business Clinic. Her post-graduate roles included a legal fellowship at CTeL and a temporary appointment as an assistant clerk at Hartford Superior Court in 2013.
Following those formative positions she moved into private practice. In 2015 she joined Beckett Law, LLC as a lawyer. She later worked at the Law Office of Lisa E. Wnuck in 2019 and then at Wiley Etter Doyon, LLC in 2021. Since 2022 she has been listed as a lawyer at Legacy Law Partners, PLLC. Those firm roles gave her steady exposure to the daily demands of client work and the operations of small law practices.
Her professional affiliations are grounded in Connecticut. She holds current membership in the State Bar of Connecticut and the Connecticut Bar Association. She also serves on the board of the Early Childhood Collaborative of Southington and maintains membership with MiddConn National Business Institute. These connections reflect both local bar involvement and ties to community organizations.
Colleagues and clients describe her work as hands-on and detail-oriented. Her past positions in a small business clinic and in various law offices suggest familiarity with both transactional and courtroom-adjacent tasks, though her résumé shows a broader path through court administration, clinic practice, and firm environments. She brings administrative experience as well, having worked as an assistant to a CFO early in her career.
She practices in Connecticut and is currently at Legacy Law Partners, PLLC. Her current practice in Connecticut involves handling a range of client matters at Legacy Law Partners, PLLC.
