About Alyson

Alyson Battaglia earned her J.D. from Barry University Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law in 2008. She began law school after undergraduate studies in 2005 and completed her degree in a class that entered the bar around the same time she was launching her practice. Her legal education emphasized courtroom procedure and client advocacy, foundations that have shaped her approach to practice.

Her career advanced through roles of increasing responsibility. Early on she worked on cases that required close attention to detail and steady courtroom presence. Over time she took on supervisory duties and moved into firm leadership. Today she serves as managing partner at Legler, Murphy & Battaglia, LLP, directing both case strategy and day-to-day operations. In that role she balances litigation oversight, client relations, and administrative responsibilities.

Battaglia is licensed to practice in Florida and has held professional association membership since 2008. That steady involvement in the local bar community has kept her connected to changes in state procedure and to peers across practice areas. Colleagues describe her as pragmatic in court and methodical in preparation. She regularly mentors junior attorneys at the firm and has overseen training programs designed to bring newer lawyers up to speed on trial practice and client handling.

Her work at the firm covers a range of matters that arise in a general litigation practice. She has experience managing complex files where multiple stakeholders are involved, and she often coordinates outside experts and co-counsel when cases require it. In hearings and trials she relies on clear, direct presentation of evidence and careful witness preparation. Internally she handles case intake, assigns team members, and reviews key pleadings before filing.

Outside the courtroom, Battaglia pays attention to the operational side of running a law firm. She manages staffing, resource allocation, and client billing systems, ensuring that the office runs smoothly while attorneys concentrate on legal work. Her current practice centers on overseeing the firm’s litigation matters and ensuring clients receive consistent legal service across the firm’s offices.
