About Alisha B.
Alisha B. Savani built a path to law that began in journalism. She earned a B.S. in Journalism from the University of Florida in 2008. She then turned to legal studies and graduated from the University of Miami School of Law in 2012. The combination of reporting training and legal education shapes how she approaches documents and courtroom narratives.
Her first practical legal work came while still in school. In 2010 she interned at the Children and Youth Law Clinic at the University of Miami. That placement exposed her to client interviews and case preparation involving vulnerable populations. In 2011 she served as a judicial extern through the 11th Judicial Circuit Family Court Externship Program as a Burton Young Judicial Extern. The experience offered a close view of family-court procedures and the pace of hearings.
After law school she took on a law clerk role at Foster-Morales Sockel-Stone in 2012. Later that year she joined the Florida Office of the Lawyer General as an Assistant Lawyer General. In state government she handled legal research, drafted filings and supported litigation and administrative work. The government post added a public-law dimension to her early practice and broadened her courtroom exposure.
A decade after graduating she moved into private practice as an associate at Sandy T. Fox, P.A., beginning that role in 2022. In the firm she has worked on client matters that require careful factual development and clear written advocacy. Colleagues note her attention to detail and her ability to translate complex legal points into plain language for clients.
Savani maintains active membership in the Florida Bar and participates in the Young Lawyers Section. She has kept a presence in the local bar community since her admission and attends events that center on professional development and practice skills. That engagement informs both how she manages cases and how she advises newer attorneys.
Her background in journalism remains a throughline. It shows up in how she prepares pleadings, frames witness examinations and writes briefs. She favors concise, direct statements supported by precise citation and factual clarity. She lives and practices in Florida and brings state and courtroom experience to her client work. She currently practices law at Sandy T. Fox, P.A., representing clients in matters before Florida state courts.
