About Alicia

Alicia Johnson is an attorney specializing in business law, estate planning, and real estate law. Based in Reno, Nevada, she serves clients throughout northern Nevada, including the Lake Tahoe and Sparks areas. Her practice is deeply rooted in the local community, and she is a proud member of the Washoe County Bar Association. This affiliation supports her engaging with the legal community and addressing the needs of her clients. Alicia earned her Juris Doctor cum laude from Seattle University School of Law in 2004. Prior to her legal education, she graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations from Gonzaga University in 2001.

During her time at Seattle University, she worked by working for a boutique employment litigation firm and a small family law firm. This hands-on approach allowed her to develop a strong foundation in various areas of law, which she would later apply in her practice. After obtaining her law degree, Alicia practiced in Kirkland, Washington, for over two years. There, she focused on real estate, business, and estate planning, honing her skills in these critical areas. In 2007, she made the decision to return to her hometown of Reno to be closer to family. This move marked the beginning of her dedication to serving the legal needs of small businesses and families across northern Nevada.

In 2013, Alicia founded Johnson Law Practice, PLLC, with the goal of providing accessible legal services to small businesses and families. The firm offers a comprehensive range of services, including business contracts, business formation, estate administration, health care directives, trusts, and wills. Additionally, Alicia handles various real estate matters, such as commercial real estate, land use and zoning, and residential real estate. Her diverse practice areas reflect her commitment to meeting the varied needs of her clients. Alicia is also dedicated to her professional development and community involvement. In addition to her membership in the Washoe County Bar Association, she is an active member of the Washington State Bar Association and the American Bar Association.

Her commitment to advancing women in the legal profession is evident through her service on the board of the Nevada Women Lawyers Association. Outside of her professional life, Alicia enjoys spending time with her family and participating in community events. She is passionate about supporting local businesses and is an active member of several community organizations in Reno.
