About Kevin
Kevin Walsh built his academic foundation at the University of Nevada, Reno, where he completed a Bachelor of Arts in English and Political Science in 1992. He continued his studies at Gonzaga University School of Law and earned his Juris Doctor in 1995. Those years of study set the stage for a career that touches both courtroom processes and alternative dispute resolution.
After law school, Walsh entered practice in Nevada. Over time he developed practical experience in client advising, document preparation and dispute resolution. He pursued additional training in alternative dispute resolution and holds a certification in mediation and arbitration from the Institute of Arbitrators and Mediators of Australia. That credential complements the more traditional legal work he performs and informs how he approaches contested matters.
Walsh is a member of the Washoe County Bar Association and participates in local professional networks. He has spent portions of his career working through structures that serve both individuals and small businesses. His work has involved estate planning matters, trust-related services and other areas where careful drafting and clear client communication matter.
In practice he has been associated with two offices: 1Source Law and The Living Trust Source. Those placements reflect an interest in services that combine legal advice with practical tools for managing assets and planning for the future. He has helped clients review documents, prepare estate plans and consider options for administration and succession.
Colleagues describe Walsh as methodical in handling files and direct in client conversations. He balances written work with participation in mediation and arbitration panels when cases are appropriate for alternative resolution. That mix of skills allows him to assist on matters that start as negotiations and, when necessary, move into more formal procedures.
Outside formal memberships and certifications, he stays engaged with developments affecting Nevada practice. He follows state-level changes that affect probate, trust administration and related areas. That attention helps when updating client documents or explaining implications of new rules.
Today Walsh works through 1Source Law and The Living Trust Source, offering services that include estate and trust documentation, client counseling and mediation or arbitration where suitable. His current practice focuses on estate planning, trust services and alternative dispute resolution.
