Mr. Makoui earned his Juris Doctor degree from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles in 1998. Prior to law school, he completed his undergraduate education at Sharif University of Technology, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering in 1976. He furthered his education with a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan in 1978, and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1986.
