About Alfred

Alfred Benoit trained at Texas Southern University, earning his J.D. in 2005. He completed law school in the mid-2000s and moved into practice in Texas, building a foothold in the state's legal community. His academic record placed him among a cohort of lawyers who entered practice during a period of shifting litigation trends and evolving courtroom technology.

He joined the Texas State Bar in 2008. Early in his career he became active in professional groups that keep trial lawyers and young attorneys connected. His memberships include the American Bar Association (since 2005), the National Bar Association (membership dating back to 2006 and listed again from 2008), the Houston Young Professionals (since 2007), and several Texas-based organizations including the Houston Lawyers Association and the Texas Young Lawyer Association. He also holds membership in the American Trial Lawyers Association, which he joined in 2010. Those affiliations have kept him plugged into continuing education and peer networks.

Benoit's path has been steady rather than flashy. He has spent his professional life practicing in Texas courts and building a private practice. Over time he established Benoit Law, PLLC. He runs the firm from his office in Texas and manages both client intake and casework. Colleagues describe him as methodical. Clients have relied on him for courtroom preparation and representation.

He has combined bar involvement with ongoing participation in local legal circles. His long-standing ties to the Houston legal community are reflected in the Houston Lawyers Association and Houston Young Professionals memberships. He has remained a member of national groups as well, maintaining connections that reach beyond state lines. That blend of local presence and national association is part of how he keeps current on trial procedures and professional standards.

Today Benoit practices through Benoit Law, PLLC. He represents clients in matters that bring him before Texas courts and administrative bodies. He continues to participate in bar activities and trial lawyer organizations while overseeing his firm's caseload. He currently focuses his practice on trial work and client representation across Texas.
