About Alexis M.
Alexis M. Miloszewski graduated from Widener University Commonwealth Law School in 2005 after earning a B.A. in English Writing from the University of Pittsburgh in 2001. She began her legal training during law school, working as a certified legal intern in 2007 for the Dauphin County District Attorney’s Office and Widener’s Civil Law Clinic. Those early placements were followed by a law clerk stint at Gover, Perry & Shore and a 2006 internship with The Hon. Jolene Grubb Korpiva, P.J., that gave her front-line courtroom exposure.
After law school she moved into county-level public work. In 2008 she served as Juvenile Conflict Counsel for Dauphin County, a role that placed her on juvenile dockets and involved guardianship and representation issues for young people. That same year she also joined Shaffer & Engle Law Offices, LLC as a lawyer, expanding her practice experience in family and domestic-relations matters.
Her private practice path continued with JSDC Law Offices, where she is listed as a lawyer beginning in 2012. She works out of the firm’s Hershey and Mechanicsburg offices. Over the years she has handled cases that sit at the intersection of family law and juvenile matters, drawing on both her public service background and courtroom experience.
Miloszewski has been active in local bar governance and professional organizations. She served as treasurer of the Dauphin County Bar Association’s Family Law Section in 2014, secretary in 2015, vice-chair in 2016 and chair in 2017. She joined the Dauphin County Bar Association’s board of directors in 2019 and continues to serve. She is also an associate member of The William W. Lipsitt American Inn of Court and has been part of the Family Law Advisory Committee for Dauphin County since 2017.
Beyond the courthouse, she has held civic and volunteer roles, including a term on the Dauphin County Library System Board of Trustees from 2012 to 2014, and involvement with the Junior League of Harrisburg in 2012. These roles reflect an interest in local institutions and legal education rather than a purely private practice profile.
That mix of public-sector juvenile work, family law section leadership and steady practice at JSDC Law Offices shapes how she approaches cases. She handles family law and related juvenile matters at JSDC Law Offices’ Hershey and Mechanicsburg offices.
