About Alexis
Alexis Breyer earned her J.D. from Syracuse University College of Law in 1992 and a B.A. in Spanish and Political Science from Boston University in 1993. Her legal education included volunteer work during law school on a student program serving indigent clients, an early sign of hands-on courtroom and client experience. She began her legal career in support roles and moved into practice quickly.
Her earliest legal role listed is as head paralegal for Irene Golbarg in 1989. That period gave her practical exposure to case preparation and office management. After law school she took part in the Student Volunteer Class Program for Indigent clients at Syracuse University College of Law in 1994. By 1996 she was juggling several professional titles: associate at Goldberg & Osborne, contract lawyer working independently, and managing partner of a firm identified as the Husband & Wife Law Team, also referenced as Breyer Law. Those entries reflect a rapid transition from staff and volunteer positions into leadership and private practice.
Breyer’s professional memberships trace a steady involvement in lawyer networks. She joined the State Bar of Arizona in 1996 and maintains membership there. She later gained invited membership in groups whose membership is by invitation, including the American Lawyer Academy in 2009 and both the Million Dollar Advocate Forum and the National Trial Lawyers Association in 2012. Locally she holds membership in the Foothills Office Association since 2007 and in a Chamber of Commerce since 1996. From 2011 to 2012 her firm participated in a Viral Video Scholarship project aimed at stopping texting while driving.
Those affiliations indicate engagement with professional development and trial-focused organizations. Her record shows work across roles — paralegal, volunteer, associate, contract lawyer and managing partner — and a practice shaped by both solo and collaborative firm environments. The multiple entries for the Husband & Wife Law Team in the office listings point to a long-standing association with that practice.
Colleagues and clients would note a career that moved early from support work into a sustained practice role and organizational participation. She has maintained continuous involvement in the State Bar and in local business groups while also accepting invitations to join national legal organizations. Alexis Breyer currently practices at The Husband & Wife Law Team — Breyer Law, where she handles client representation, trial preparation and day-to-day case management.
