About Alexis
Alexis Austin began her path to law in the classroom. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in 2010 from the University of Memphis, studying psychology and philosophy. She went on to law school at the University of Denver and received her J.D. in 2014. Those formative years shaped how she approaches problems: methodical, pragmatic and attuned to how people make decisions.
After graduating, Austin moved into private practice. She spent time at Liberty Law Center and at Austin, Katzman & Thom, P.C. Those roles gave her exposure to courtroom work and client counseling. Colleagues describe her as straightforward in the courtroom and precise in preparation. She handled a range of client matters and developed skills in case assessment and negotiation.
In 2018 she opened Right Law Group. As the firm’s owner she oversees case strategy and day-to-day operations. Opening her own practice was a shift from working inside larger firms. It also allowed her to set the tone for client service and how cases are staffed. She maintains memberships in local professional organizations and has been a member of the El Paso County Bar Association since 2017.
Austin is admitted to practice in Colorado and maintains an active license. Her background in psychology and philosophy informs how she evaluates client priorities and presentation. She places emphasis on clear legal analysis and on explaining options plainly. That approach shapes how she advises people and businesses who come to her for help.
She continues to lead Right Law Group and handle matters for clients in Colorado. The firm reflects her preference for direct communication, careful preparation and practical problem solving. She remains active in local bar activities and in building a small practice that responds to local needs.
She currently heads Right Law Group and focuses on serving clients across Colorado.
