About Alexandria

Alexandria Vandenberg began her legal path at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in 2016. She continued immediately to Drake University Law School and received her J.D. the same year. The back-to-back degrees set a clear course for a career spent in courtrooms and client meetings rather than in headlines.

After law school she entered firm practice. Her early litigation and client-side work included a stint at Takekawa & Green in 2020, where she served as an associate attorney. The next year she moved to Modern Family Law as an associate, gaining hands-on experience in family law cases and the day-to-day demands of a practice devoted to domestic relations. Those roles built a practical foundation that she soon brought to a broader practice environment.

She is admitted to practice in both Iowa and Colorado and maintains active memberships in several bar groups. Vandenberg is a member of the Iowa State Bar Association and the Colorado Bar Association. She also belongs to the Colorado Women’s Bar Association and the Larimer County Bar Association. Those memberships reflect a practice that crosses state lines and touches on local court procedures as well as statewide rules.

In her current position as an associate at Burnham Law, Vandenberg works on matters arising in the two jurisdictions where she is licensed. Colleagues describe her as methodical in preparing files and straightforward in courtroom exchanges. She has carried the procedural experience from earlier positions into a role that requires both client counseling and litigation readiness.

Her time at Modern Family Law gave her direct exposure to family law practice, including case management, client interviews, and court appearances. At Burnham Law she has broadened that experience, applying it to a range of civil matters that require attention to detail and familiarity with differing state rules. She balances research and negotiation with appearances in front of judges and mediators.

She maintains an active practice at Burnham Law, representing clients in matters across Iowa and Colorado.
