About Alexandra
Alexandra Isroff built her professional foundation at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, where she earned a Bachelor of Journalism and studied women’s studies in 2002. She went on to receive her J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law in 2005. Those years shaped both how she thinks and how she works; reporting instincts and attention to gender issues remain part of her approach to legal problems.
Her background in journalism shaped an early habit of close reading and skeptical inquiry. She learned to gather facts, test sources and write clearly. Those skills carried over into law school, where courtroom preparation and legal writing demanded similar discipline. Her studies in women’s issues informed a perspective on how law intersects with social dynamics, and they have influenced the way she frames client problems.
Following law school, Isroff entered private practice. Over time she developed a practice style that emphasizes precise client communication and careful case preparation. She has handled a variety of matters for individuals and organizations. In each matter she prioritizes making complex information accessible so clients can make informed decisions.
Colleagues describe her work as methodical. She tends to break issues down into discrete questions, address them one by one and present options in straightforward language. This practical approach shows up in negotiations, written advocacy and client counseling alike. Her training as a journalist surfaces in how she prepares for hearings — meticulous fact-gathering and attention to documentary detail.
Outside of client work, Isroff has shown an interest in civic and educational settings, where her combined background in journalism and law can inform public conversations. She has taken part in forums and panel discussions that touch on legal rights and public policy, bringing a practitioner’s view to broader debates.
She maintains a solo practice under the name Lawyer Alexandra Isroff. Her current practice focuses on providing clear legal counsel and practical problem-solving for individual clients and small organizations.
