About Alexander Perwich

Alexander Perwich III began his path to the law at the University of Georgia, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in English in 2011. He continued his studies at Marquette University Law School, receiving his Juris Doctor in 2016. Those academic years set the stage for a series of practical legal experiences that followed.

While still in law school he worked as a law clerk at Birdsall Law Offices and then at Hupy and Abraham, both in 2014. The clerkships offered early courtroom exposure and hands-on file work. In 2015 he took a position as a law clerk at Borgelt, Powell, Peterson & Frauen S.C., and after graduation he joined that firm as an associate in 2016. The sequence shows a steady move from student roles into full-time practice.

Perwich holds membership in the American Bar Association since 2016. He is licensed to practice in Wisconsin and has spent his career working in firms that handle state-level matters. The professional memberships and his work history reflect continual engagement with the legal community since completing law school.

His colleagues describe him as methodical in his approach to cases. He has experience drafting pleadings, assisting in discovery, and supporting trial preparation. Early in his career he balanced tasks that ranged from research assignments to client interviews and courtroom appearances. Those responsibilities helped sharpen practical skills that newer attorneys often acquire over several years.

After several years at Borgelt, Powell, Peterson & Frauen S.C., Perwich moved into private practice at Meyer Van Severen, S.C. There he maintains a caseload and participates in the day-to-day operations of a small firm. He brings the routine of courtroom preparation and client counseling to his current role, building on the clerkship experiences from law school.

Outside work he has stayed connected to regional legal circles and professional programming. He attends continuing education and bar events that address changes in Wisconsin law. His career has been a straightforward progression from undergraduate study through law school clerkships to an associate role and now a practicing attorney at Meyer Van Severen, S.C., where he represents clients in matters arising under Wisconsin law.
