About Alexander
Alexander Karasik built a legal path that crosses continents. He began his studies in Moscow at Moscow State University where he completed work in international law. He later moved to the United States, earning a Bachelor of Arts from Brooklyn College in 1993 and a Juris Doctor from Shepard Broad Law Center at Nova Southeastern University in 2005. Those academic stops set the tone for a practice that involves both federal and state courts.
After law school, Karasik entered private practice and within a few years established his own firm. In 2007 he founded Karasik Law Group, P.C. That step put him in charge of a small firm environment where he could shape case selection, courtroom strategy and client relationships. Over time the firm has reflected his professional priorities and the admissions he maintains.
Karasik is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey. He also holds admission to the U.S. District Court for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York and the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for those same districts. Those federal admissions indicate work that touches both district-level litigation and bankruptcy matters in the New York metropolitan area.
Colleagues and peers will find him present in several professional organizations. He holds memberships in the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the New York State Bar Association and the New York State Trial Lawyers Association. He is also a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association. Those affiliations connect him to trial practice groups and state bar activities across two states.
Karasik’s career shows steady progression from international law studies to domestic litigation and bankruptcy practice. He has balanced courtroom appearances with managing a law firm. That combination requires attention to procedural detail, client intake and supervising case work. The record of admissions across federal and state courts speaks to a practice that must handle documents, hearings and relief requests at multiple levels.
Today he leads Karasik Law Group, P.C., operating from his firm office. His work involves cases in the federal and state courts to which he is admitted. He continues to maintain active memberships in state and trial bar groups while guiding his firm's docket and litigation strategy.
