About Alexa

Alexa Ritchie earned a Bachelor of Arts in Social Welfare from the University of Washington in 1992. Years later she completed legal education through the Washington State Bar Association in 2018. Those two milestones bookend a path from social service interests to a legal career grounded in community issues and professional engagement.

Her work life has been centered in Washington. She holds memberships in several regional professional organizations, including the Clark County Bar Association, the Estate Planning Council of Southwest Washington and the Clark/St. Helens chapter of Washington Women Lawyers. Those memberships reflect the circles in which she practices and the professional networks she maintains.

Colleagues describe her as methodical in approach. She has combined a background in social welfare with legal training to address client needs that touch on family and financial planning. Membership in the local Estate Planning Council suggests sustained involvement with wills, trusts and probate matters, while participation in local bar activities keeps her connected to county-level practice and procedure.

Ritchie’s transition into law came later in her professional life than is typical. That shift allowed her to bring experience outside law into the practice. It also positioned her to work on matters where social services and legal planning intersect. She has been active in the legal community since completing her WSBA legal education in 2018, attending meetings and contributing to discussions through her local bar and specialty groups.

In firm settings she is known for steady preparation and clarity in explaining complex topics to clients. She approaches cases one at a time, breaking difficult concepts into plain language and practical steps. Her peers note that the combination of a social welfare background and law training produces a pragmatic, client-centered style.

Ritchie practices in Washington and maintains memberships that keep her engaged with peers in Clark County and the surrounding region. She is currently with Pabst Holland & Reynolds, PLLC, where she focuses on estate planning and related matters in Washington.
