About Nicholas A.

Nicholas A. Alexander earned his J.D. from Willamette University College of Law in 2014. He completed his legal education after several years at the Salem-based law school, where he studied core areas of law that prepare attorneys for practice in state courts. The degree laid the groundwork for his later work in estate and probate matters.

After law school, Alexander built his practice in Washington. He is licensed to practice in that state and has developed a professional presence in its legal community. Over time he took on roles that extended beyond client work. He has served as Chairperson of the Clark County Bench/Bar Committee, a position that places him at the confluence of local judges and practicing attorneys. In that role he has been involved in organizing meetings and discussions intended to improve communication between the bench and the bar.

His practice has centered on wills, trusts and related estate planning work. At Vancouver Wills and Trusts he handles document drafting, probate issues and transfers of assets through estate instruments. He works with individuals and families to prepare wills and trust arrangements, and assists executors and trustees in carrying out their responsibilities. His day-to-day work combines drafting legal instruments with guiding clients through procedural steps after a death or during incapacity planning.

Colleagues describe him as steady and practical in approach. He maintains current membership in professional organizations and participates in local legal circles in Clark County. That engagement extends to his bench/bar work and to public programs the committee runs for lawyers and judges. He has used those platforms to help streamline local procedures and to bring practitioners together for training and informational sessions.

Alexander’s practice balances courtroom responsibilities and client counseling. He appears in matters that require court filings or probate hearings, and he also spends significant time preparing estate plans and advising on trust administration. He keeps active in the legal community while managing a caseload that reflects the needs of families and individuals in the Vancouver area.

He currently practices at Vancouver Wills and Trusts, handling wills, trusts and estate planning matters.
