About Alex M.
Alex M. Graziano earned his J.D. from Campbell Law School in 2015 after completing a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2011. He moved from academic study into practical law at a time when the state’s courts were handling a broad range of civil and criminal matters. His legal education combined classroom doctrine with clinics and externships that prepared him for practice in North Carolina.
After law school, Graziano joined the North Carolina bar in 2015 and began building his career at Pope McMillan Kutteh & Schieck, PA. He entered the firm as an associate lawyer and has remained there, taking on responsibilities typical for junior and mid-level associates. His work has included drafting pleadings, conducting legal research, preparing discovery, and assisting in courtroom hearings. He has also worked alongside partners on case strategy and client meetings.
Graziano holds memberships in several professional organizations. He has been a member of the North Carolina State Bar since 2015. He also belongs to the North Carolina Advocates for Justice and the North Carolina Bar Association, both memberships beginning in 2015 and continuing to the present. Those affiliations offer him opportunities for continuing legal education and professional networking within the state bar community.
Colleagues describe him as methodical in his approach to case preparation. He spends time reviewing records and focusing on procedural accuracy. In litigation settings he contributes to trial preparation and motion practice under partner supervision. Outside of courtroom work, he participates in client consultations and drafts transactional documents as needed by the firm.
Graziano’s practice is rooted in the laws and courts of North Carolina. He brings to his role the combined perspective of a local undergraduate education and a regional law school background, a path shared by many lawyers who stay in-state to build their practices. He continues to develop practical skills through the firm’s caseload and through involvement with state bar organizations.
He currently practices as an associate at Pope McMillan Kutteh & Schieck, PA, and handles matters in North Carolina courts as part of the firm’s legal team.
