About Alan Robert
Alan Robert Sacks earned his J.D. from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles. He built his legal foundation there before entering practice. His education on the West Coast preceded a career that would span several states and multiple firm roles.
Sacks moved into firm leadership early. In 1986 he became a partner at Sacks & Raines, a role that placed him squarely in management and client-facing work. He later served as counsel at Sutterfield & Webb LLC in 2001. In 2004 he joined Rubin Fiorella as a partner and then moved to Sacks & Muccini LLC as a partner in 2007. Since 2014 he has been director of Sacks Associates, P.C., where he oversees aspects of the firm’s practice and client engagements.
He is admitted to practice in Louisiana, Oklahoma, New York and Texas. Those admissions have allowed him to advise and represent clients in multiple jurisdictions, and to handle matters that cross state lines. That geographic reach has shaped the practical demands of his work and the structure of the matters he accepts.
Over the years Sacks’s roles have alternated between counseling clients and taking on firm leadership responsibilities. He has experience in the internal operations of law firms as well as in direct client representation. That mix of management and practice has informed how he approaches problem-solving for clients and how he mentors more junior lawyers within the firms he has served.
Colleagues describe him as steady and pragmatic in handling legal matters, preferring clear analysis over rhetoric. He has navigated the shifts in private practice across four decades, moving from partner roles to counsel and back into leadership. Those changes reflect a career that adapts to the needs of clients and the business of running a firm.
Today he practices from Sacks Associates, P.C., where he combines oversight responsibilities with casework. He currently concentrates his practice on representing clients in civil matters across the firm’s jurisdictions.
