About Alan H.
Alan H. Crede earned his B.A. from Saint Anselm College and completed his J.D. at Boston College Law School. His education combined a liberal arts foundation with the rigor of a Boston law program. Classwork and clinics at Boston College helped shape a practical approach to client problems and court procedure.
After law school Crede secured admission to multiple jurisdictions. He is licensed in Massachusetts and New Jersey and is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts. Those credentials have allowed him to handle matters that cross state lines and to appear in federal court when cases require it.
Crede’s professional life has kept him engaged with the local bar community. He maintains memberships in the Massachusetts State Bar, the American Bar Association, the Boston Bar Association, the Massachusetts Bar Association, the Massachusetts Employment Lawyers Association, the Norfolk County Bar Association, and the Suffolk County Bar Association. That involvement keeps him abreast of rule changes and provides regular contact with lawyers who practice in a range of fields.
In practice he has gravitated toward work that frequently arises in both state and federal settings. His caseload has included workplace disputes and other civil matters that require litigation, negotiation, or counseling. He approaches each file with an aim to clarify legal options for clients and to set realistic expectations about the path forward. Colleagues describe him as careful in preparation and deliberate in court, preferring clear legal reasoning over rhetorical flourish.
Crede serves as Of Counsel at Conforto Law Group. In that role he consults on cases, assists with litigation strategy, and supports trial preparation. The title allows him to draw on courtroom experience while collaborating with a team that handles a broad spectrum of legal work. He also continues to participate in bar activities and to follow developments in employment law and civil procedure.
He balances courtroom work with client counseling, often explaining complex rules in straightforward terms so clients can make informed decisions. He currently focuses his practice on employment and civil litigation matters at Conforto Law Group.
