About Agnes
Agnes Rybar built a legal career that crosses borders and courtrooms. She began her legal studies in Poland and completed her J.D. in the United States. That background informs a steady, practical approach to practice.
She earned an academic law degree from Warsaw University School of Law in 1992, an education described as the Polish equivalent of a U.S. master’s degree. She later took up graduate study at Rutgers School of Law–Newark and received her J.D. in 2004. Those formative years combined continental legal training and U.S. courtroom preparation.
Her first post-law school courtroom experience came in 2004 when she served as a law clerk to Hon. Alan J. Pogarsky, J.S.C., at the Ocean County Superior Court, Family Part. That role placed her inside family court proceedings and offered early exposure to judicial decision-making. It was a close look at how judges handle sensitive domestic matters and a foundation for work that followed in private practice.
In 2005 she moved into private practice as an associate at Tomasik, Horn & Turnbach, LLC. Within a few years she advanced, becoming a partner in 2008 at Horn, Turnbach & Rybar, LLC. Those years offered experience in managing client work and contributing to firm operations. In 2012 she also served of counsel at two separate law offices, a period that broadened her practice and allowed for more flexible client engagements.
Since 2013 she has run her own firm, The Law Office of Agnes Rybar, LLC. As owner-operator she has overseen case management, client counseling, and the administrative responsibilities that come with solo practice. Her path—European legal training, a U.S. law degree, court clerkship, associate and partner roles, and finally firm ownership—shows a progression through different professional settings and responsibilities.
Rybar is admitted to practice in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. That dual admission shapes how she takes cases and advises clients across state lines. She continues to represent clients through her firm in matters arising in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Her current practice centers on serving clients in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
