About Adrienne Waters

Adrienne Waters Ogle graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Law with a J.D. in 2008. She built her legal training on that academic foundation and entered practice in Tennessee, where she is admitted to the state bar and is also admitted to practice in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. Her law school years remain a reference point for how she approaches litigation and courtroom work.

Her early career moved steadily toward trial practice and firm leadership. She joined Green, Waters Ogle and McCarter and rose through the firm’s ranks. In 2014 she assumed the role of managing partner. In that position she oversaw firm operations, directed case strategy and handled trial work. Colleagues say she balanced courtroom responsibilities with administrative tasks that kept the firm running.

Ogle’s courtroom work centers on civil plaintiff litigation. She represents individuals and groups in disputes that reach trial. Her membership in the National Trial Lawyers Association under its civil plaintiff division, which she has held since 2018, reflects that alignment. She is also a member of the Sevier County Bar Association, a local network she joined in 2009 and continues to participate in.

Outside the courtroom she has taken on community and organizational roles. From 2016 to 2018 she served on the board of directors for the Sevier County Association for Recovery and Education Services, a local nonprofit addressing recovery and education needs. The Better Business Bureau of East Tennessee lists her firm as an accredited business, a designation that speaks to business practices and consumer relations rather than to litigation results.

Her work life blends trial advocacy with firm management. She handles case preparation, motion practice and trial presentation while also supervising associate attorneys and managing client relations. That mix of responsibilities means she spends time both in court and in the office, shaping legal strategy and mentoring younger lawyers.

As of 2026 she remains managing partner at Green, Waters Ogle and McCarter and continues to represent plaintiffs in civil litigation matters. She maintains an active trial practice representing plaintiffs in civil cases.
