About Adam
Adam Zayed built his academic foundation across three Midwest institutions. He studied at Loyola University Chicago before earning an MBA from the University of Chicago. He then completed a J.D. at the University of Notre Dame School of Law. Those years set a pattern of combining legal study with business-minded thinking.
He founded Zayed Law Offices Personal Injury Lawyers in 2009 and has served as its managing trial lawyer since then. He established the firm in Illinois and expanded its presence to serve clients across the state. Over time the practice grew from a single office into a network of locations in Chicago, Joliet, Wheaton, Rockford, Peoria, Aurora, and Bloomington.
Zayed’s courtroom work is steady and practical. He handles serious personal injury claims and wrongful-death cases. He tries cases for plaintiffs and pursues damages after automobile collisions, trucking incidents, and other catastrophic events. Trial preparation and litigation strategy take up much of his caseload. He is known inside the firm for preferring contested resolutions that require a jury.
Peer organizations and bar groups have figured in his professional life. He is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and belongs to both national and state trial lawyer organizations. His memberships include the Illinois State Bar Association, the DuPage County Bar Association, the Chicago Bar Association, the Will County Bar Association, the National Trial Lawyers, the American Association for Justice, the Association of Plaintiff Interstate Trucking Lawyers of America, and the National Academy of Personal Injury Lawyers. He has served on the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association Board of Managers since 2019, was on the ITLA Board of Advocates from 2017 to 2019, and has been part of the American Bar Association Board of Fellows since 2018.
Colleagues describe him as methodical in litigation and persistent in discovery, favoring a hands-on approach to preparing witnesses and experts. He combines business training from his MBA with trial procedure learned at Notre Dame. That combination informs the firm’s approach to case valuation and negotiation.
Zayed practices in Illinois courts and manages the firm’s multi-office operations. He continues to lead Zayed Law Offices Personal Injury Lawyers and handles serious personal injury and wrongful-death litigation across Illinois.
