About Adam W.

Adam W. Pollock studied journalism at Utah State University, earning a B.A. and completing a minor in Portuguese and Brazilian Studies. He later attended Chapman University Fowler School of Law, where he received his J.D. The combination of a journalism background and legal training shapes how he approaches research and client communication.

Early in his career Pollock worked in editorial roles. In 2010 he contributed to OC Lawyer Magazine as an editor, author and co-author. That same year he served as a clerk at a boutique law office, performing legal research and assisting with case preparation. Those experiences gave him front-line exposure to the mechanics of practice and the demands of legal writing.

In 2013 he taught as an adjunct professor at California Lutheran University. The course work and classroom time reinforced skills in explaining complex subjects to varied audiences. Teaching also provided him with a chance to examine legal concepts from different angles and to test practical approaches against academic frameworks.

Pollock is admitted to practice in California and before the D.C. Circuit. He maintains memberships in the Trusts and Estates Section of the State Bar of California and in the Ventura County Bar Association. He chairs the Solo/Small Firms Section of the Ventura County Bar Association, a role that involves organizing meetings and helping small-firm practitioners navigate operational and ethical questions. He is also a member of the Ninth Judicial Circuit Historical Society.

Outside the bar groups he volunteers as a lawyer for the Public Law Center in Santa Ana. That volunteer work places him on pro bono matters that often intersect with estate planning and family issues. It also connects him to community needs and local legal service networks.

Pollock practices from the Pollock Law Office. His career mixes practice, teaching and editorial work. He brings an emphasis on clear writing and careful factual development to client matters. His practice concentrates on trust and estate matters, probate administration, and related civil work.

He is active in local bar organization leadership and in pro bono legal service. His current practice at Pollock Law Office centers on trust and estate matters, probate administration, and related civil disputes.
