About Adam

Adam Mundt combines legal training with a strong accounting background. He earned his J.D. from the University of Houston - Downtown in 2015 after completing both a Master of Arts in Accounting and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting at Texas Christian University in 2008 and 2007, respectively. The sequence of degrees left him equally comfortable reading a balance sheet and parsing statutory language.

His academic record set a clear path. The accounting degrees gave him technical fluency in financial statements, internal controls and numerical analysis. Law school added doctrinal rigor and courtroom practice. Those two foundations shape how he approaches legal problems: methodical, detail-oriented and attentive to numbers as well as precedent.

Mundt practices in Texas and holds current membership in the State Bar of Texas. He serves as a partner at McClure Law Group. In that role he participates in firm management, client counseling and case strategy. Colleagues describe his work as pragmatic; he aims to translate technical issues into clear options that clients can act on.

He often draws on his accounting background when cases present financial complexity. That background helps when examining contracts, analyzing company records or preparing financial evidence for hearings. He does not rely on generalities. He reviews documents line by line and seeks factual clarity before proposing solutions. This practical orientation informs both transactional work and dispute resolution.

Clients find the combination of accounting and legal training useful when matters intersect business and law. Mundt’s approach is to identify the core financial facts quickly, then build a legal response that addresses those facts. He emphasizes plain communication. He avoids legalese when explaining risk and possible outcomes. That makes conversations more useful for business owners, corporate officers and other decision-makers who must weigh cost, risk and timing.

Outside the office he remains connected to professional networks in Texas. His ongoing membership in the State Bar provides access to continuing education and the local legal community. At the firm he has contributed to internal training on how to present complex financial material to judges and arbitrators.

He currently practices law in Texas at McClure Law Group, where he handles matters that draw on his legal training and accounting experience.
