About Adam J.

Adam J. Weinstein combines technical training and legal education in a practice that spans state and federal courts in New York and New Jersey. He earned a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Lehigh University in 2005 and later completed his J.D. at New York Law School. The early engineering degree gave him a methodical approach to problem-solving. Law school added advocacy and an understanding of litigation strategy.

Weinstein entered the professional world in roles outside traditional law from the outset. He began as a project coordinator at Outlook Group Corp in 2005. A year later he moved to American International Group as a business analyst. He spent 2008 as a consultant at Red Three Consulting. Those positions preceded his move into legal practice. In 2009 he joined Napoli Bern Ripka Shkolnik LLP as a lawyer. Four years later he became a partner at Gana Weinstein LLP, a role he has held since 2013.

Over the course of his career, Weinstein has maintained admissions across several jurisdictions. He is admitted in New Jersey and New York, and he is also admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and the District of New Jersey. Those admissions allow him to appear in both state courts and federal trial courts in the region.

His professional affiliations include memberships in the Public Investors Advocate Bar Association, the New York City Bar Association, and the New Jersey State Bar Association. Those memberships place him among practitioners who exchange developments in securities and investor litigation, among other areas. He participates in the bar community and follows developments that affect practice in the Northeast.

Colleagues and clients have described Weinstein as someone who brings a structured approach to case work. His background in industrial engineering and business analysis informs how he prepares factual records and assesses complicated information. That mix of technical and legal experience frames how he develops litigation plans, prepares filings, and engages in courtroom work.

Weinstein maintains a long-standing role at Gana Weinstein LLP. He has worked at the firm for more than a decade and holds the title of partner. He handles matters that arise in the state and federal courts to which he is admitted. His current practice centers on representing clients in matters before New York and New Jersey state and federal courts.
