About Thomas
Thomas Ewick earned his law degree from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law. He completed the J.D. program before beginning his professional practice in Illinois. His academic training provided an introduction to courtroom procedure, legal research and client counseling that has informed his work since entering the profession.
He is authorized to practice in Illinois and maintains membership in the State Bar of Illinois. That membership is current and forms part of his professional network. He has used bar resources and continuing legal education opportunities to stay engaged with developments in state practice and procedure.
Ewick joined Stange Law Office, PC and took on the role of Senior Associate Lawyer in 2024. In that capacity he has supervised matters for clients and participated in both litigation and transactional tasks assigned by the firm. His role includes drafting pleadings, conducting factual investigation and managing aspects of case preparation under the firm’s direction.
Before assuming his senior associate role, he developed the practical skills needed for day-to-day legal work through courtroom exposure and client contact. He has worked alongside more senior attorneys on complex files and handled discrete tasks that require careful legal analysis and attention to deadlines. Colleagues describe his approach as methodical and precise in document work and preparation.
Within the firm environment, Ewick contributes to client intake and case assessment. He is involved in exchanging information with clients, collecting records and helping develop strategy options. His work supports the firm’s broader efforts to resolve disputes and pursue client objectives through negotiation, settlement or litigation when necessary.
Outside of the office, he keeps ties to the legal community through the State Bar of Illinois. That affiliation gives him access to continuing education programs and professional resources that inform his practice. He participates in professional development to remain current on procedural and substantive changes that affect litigants and counsel in Illinois courts.
He continues to build his practice at Stange Law Office, PC in Illinois. He handles a range of matters on behalf of clients and remains active in the State Bar of Illinois while carrying out his responsibilities as a senior associate lawyer.
