About Adam David

Adam David Garcia trained as a lawyer on the West Coast and built a practice around insolvency and business matters. He earned a B.A. in political science from the University of California, Berkeley in 2008 and completed his J.D. at the James E. Rogers College of Law at the University of Arizona in 2011. He also holds a certification in International Trade and Business Law from the University of Arizona.

After law school, Garcia moved into bankruptcy work. In 2012 he joined Sacramento Law Group LLP as a bankruptcy lawyer. That early stint placed him squarely in proceedings and filings, and exposed him to the procedural side of insolvency practice. His resume shows ties to both legal and business organizations; he has been a member of the Better Business Bureau since 2018 and belonged to the National Association of Realtors from 2018 through 2020.

Those affiliations line up with a practice that sits at the intersection of finance, commerce and property. Garcia’s academic training in international trade and business law supplements his experience in bankruptcy. It gives him a background in transactional issues that sometimes accompany insolvency cases, such as disputes over assets, contracts and cross-border considerations.

Colleagues describe Garcia as a lawyer who prefers to let facts and filings speak. He has worked on matters that require familiarity with bankruptcy court procedures and the interplay between creditor rights and debtor protections. Over time he has handled both consumer and commercial matters, the paperwork and hearings that follow filing, and negotiations that aim to resolve claims outside of contested proceedings.

Garcia is licensed to practice in California. He keeps active links to the local business community and to professionals in real estate, a network reflected in his past membership in the National Association of Realtors and ongoing membership in the Better Business Bureau. That network can be useful in cases where property and sales are part of the insolvency equation.

He practices law in California and remains focused on bankruptcy matters, drawing on his legal education, his early experience at Sacramento Law Group LLP and his business-law training in his current practice.
